Weight loss and the use of energy are actually closely associated to each other.  The more energy you have, the more calories you can burn. 1.Wake Up Early – You can dramatically increase your chances of losing weight by keeping a set routine, and above all, by waking up early. When you have established a daily routine, there is a lesser likelihood for you to go off track. Instead, you will follow the routine that you have grown accustomed to. As a result, you will have the much needed energy that you need to achieve a peak performance, especially when you are working out daily.

2. Make Your Bed – While this habit makes your bedroom neater and more organized, arranging your sheets and fluffing your pillows will somehow get your heart rate going, making you more prepared to face the day ahead.

3. Consume Protein – When you consume sufficient amount of protein, your brain as well as your stomach will feel that they are well nourished. In effect, it will curb your hunger and will prevent you from craving for snacks later in the day. This is the best reason why eggs are great for breakfast. Eggs are full of bio-available protein, which enables your body to utilize it better than other protein sources, like meat.

4. Coffee – The secret to incorporating coffee into your diet is to make your coffee as healthy as you can. The perfect way is to drink it black, but if you can’t you can reduce the amount of sugar and replace your regular milk with skim milk.

5. Chocolate – The kind that I’m referring to is the dark chocolate, and not the unhealthy ones, such as a Snickers Bar. Dark chocolate has the alkaloid “Theobromine,” which has the same effect to your body as caffeine. When going through your choices of dark chocolates, get the brand that has the highest cocoa content. The higher the cocoa content, the better it is for your body. Theobromine will kick-start your metabolism in the morning.

6. Crunchy Breakfast – Eat something crunchy or chewy for breakfast. This type of food will awaken your facial muscles and that can make you feel more active and alert. Carrots, apples, and other crunchy fruits and vegetables are perfect choices for your morning meal. Carrot is an effective energy booster and it helps promote weight loss since it has a low GI and will provide you with sustained energy all throughout the day.

It is important to make some initiatives to energize yourself right after you wake up. If you fail to do so, you will suffer its adverse effects for the whole day. Learn all the six morning habits and you will surely have enough energy to fire you up for your workouts and other chores throughout the day.
